I was born and raised in Poland and lived with my wonderful parents and my younger brother. Family means the world to me, and nothing beats spending time with my folks and my adorable 3-year-old nephew. I decided to move to Ireland, where I embraced the challenge of studying Physiotherapy and Sports Injury for two years. The experience not only fuelled my passion for helping others but also gave me the courage to carve out my own path. Here I met my partner who supports me in every step of my journey. He works as a Project Manager, although he’s on his fifth year of Dentistry. Together, we made our way to the city of Edinburgh, where I enjoyed the nature with long walks and cycling, that has become our favourite pastimes. I also have a keen interest in healthy living, especially clean food as I know the effects a bad diet can have on your well-being and general health. I’m not always an angel with my food and will never turn down a pizza or a large portion of chips, those are my guilty pleasures. I’ve been in the care industry for 14 years now, primarily working with the elderly and catering to a range of different backgrounds. I believe I’ve made a positive impact in many of my client’s lives and I want to do the same with those who have experienced and are living with a spinal injury. It's a field that deeply interests me, and I'm excited about the journey ahead. I am in my first year of Paramedic Science studies. I love to continually develop my skills and know that my calling is to help others, in any way I can. I’m hard-working and very considerate, and my friends will tell you I’m a ‘people person’ even though I do enjoy my own company from time to time.

KA1 2LZ 267482 I am a kind, passionate, friendly, empathetic soul. Working in care on and off since the 1990's. This was within hospitals, care homes and more recently live in care. Recently I looked after 3 different clients in their home. This was in many situations, including a millionaires house. The people I have helped look after over these years have been very varied. From patients with broken bones, to cancer, copd and more. As well as this I've worked on mental health wards, in some challenging places. My hobbies are watching football, movies, series. I also like to walk, travel and like photography and art. I love music and going to concerts. I got into care as I have looked after my ex partner who had mental health issues and helped look after my grandmother, when I had time , as she lived away from where I lived. I thankyou for taking the time to read this and hope I can be of help to you.

ML3 8JT 342935 After five years of experience in hospitals, support work, and care homes, I’ve learned that the most meaningful part of care to me is providing personalised, one-to-one support. Home care allows me to focus completely on the individual, understand their routines, and help them stay independent in the comfort of their own home. My experience across different care settings has given me a solid foundation—clinical awareness from hospital work, behavioural and emotional understanding from support work, and practical daily care skills from care homes. Home care brings all these skills together in a setting where I can have a real impact on a person’s quality of life. I enjoy building trusting relationships, noticing small changes in someone’s wellbeing, and supporting them in ways that truly matter to them. Working in home care allows me to deliver compassionate, personalised care while maintaining dignity, respect, and independence for each client. That’s the type of care I’m most passionate about.

ML3 9PZ 25517 I have been in care for 20 years. I worked with a client with spinal injuries for 12 years just leaving 2019 as travel was getting a lot. I really loved my job which covered personal care cooking cleaning etc. During my time with that client I also worked adhoc with a women with Parkinson’s for 3 years which I really enjoyed. Both of these clients were sleepovers both waking and non waking. The last year I have worked in an nursing home environment with clients with dementia, elderly and infirm and strokes I have enjoyed this too but really enjoyed doing 1-1 care as well. Recently I worked with a client with muscular dystrophy who was ventilated this came to an end due to funding cuts. I have 3 grown up boys and now a lovely grandson and enjoy socialising walking reading and listening to music. I’m doing a course through skill network challenging behaviour in children and I am completing my svq 2 in care through upskill with south lanarkshire council and I’m hoping to do my svq 3 this way aswell. I’m really bubbly and outgoing and I get on great with everyone.

My experience has taken me to several different care settings from nursing homes, live in care, and residential care. I have extensive experience caring for people with Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Behavioural Issues, Depression, and Palliative Care. My approach to care is person centred. Companionship and friendship are essential qualities for building trust and familiarity with my clients. The safety and wellbeing of whom I care for is a top priority. These values I hold have allowed me to build fantastic relationships with the families and people whom I've cared for. I am an upbeat person who loves to live life with a smile on my face. I love all things creative and holistic and enjoy sharing these ideas and activities where possible with my clients. I'm passionate about this world and exploring different cultures. Providing emotional support through active listening to the client's concerns ie making sure they understand procedures, which will then alleviate any anxiety they may feel at the time. I have also learned to recognise when a client is in distress by reporting any significant abnormalities to the nurse in charge. I have had experience in personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing whilst enabling clients to maintain their dignity and independence where necessary. I always make sure to adhere to hygiene protocols and use PPE to prevent spreading infections within different environments. I have worked alongside other healthcare professionals to aid in coordinating all clients. I am a keen learner and value professional development and would embrace any training required to improve the care that is needed for any client. I am a reliable, patient, skilled individual who is keen to secure full-time employment within a different environment.
