LE9 8BN 273567 My name is Maggie, and I am an experienced carer with 20 years of providing compassionate support in both residential and domestic settings across the UK. I have a deep understanding of the care and support needs of people from all walks of life, and I am dedicated to delivering person-centred care with warmth and empathy. My journey into care was inspired by supporting my mother through palliative care during her final months, which strengthened my commitment to helping others live with dignity and comfort. In addition to my care experience, I have strong housekeeping and administrative skills, and I am an excellent cook. I enjoy going for walks and bringing a positive, down-to-earth attitude to everything I do. Thank you for considering me as your carer. LE3 8DL 67252 I am a kind, caring lady with lots of patience. I am energetic and have lots of enthusiasm to take care of the more senior members of our community. I enjoy live-in work as it enables me to carry out my duties thoroughly and gives the client confidence in a familiar carer. I am experienced with clients with limited mobility and prefer to help a more dependent person with a range of needs rather than those who only require minimal help. I prefer placements of up to six weeks with a couple of weeks in between, but can be flexible to fit in as required. My main approach is to keep the lady or gentleman stress-free as this enables a happy client and a rewarding placement for me. I like pets and am happy to help with their care. I drive, but do not have a car at present. I am happy to travel to placements within the UK, usually by train. Kind regards Chrissy 0 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

LE67 2AZ 30834 Being a domiciliary carer means that I provide my care services within the comfort of people’s homes. The lovely ladies and gents that I get to care for either prefer to stay in their own home or aren’t at the stage where they need to be in a care home just yet. One of the things I love about domiciliary care is working with my clients one on one. I can give them my undivided attention during each visit. I also find that domiciliary care visits feel more like visiting a friend rather than being at work. I understand just how important being in your own home is to some people. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

LE3 8NF 70919 I have been a carer throughout my life. Born as the elder of the two girls in a family of 9 meant responsibilities of taking care of my siblings from the word 'go'. I took care of my younger cousins too, at one time I had 10 children to take care of at the age of 18, one of which was 6 months old. That was hard but I managed it even in a language foreign to me. This was in Botswana in 1978 where my uncle lived and I came from Zimbabwe. I had a scholarship to train as a fashion cutter and designer in Germany between 1979 and 1983. During my free hours and weekends I took care of a 67 year old lady who needed help with cleaning the biggest mansion I ever set foot into. That was fun. I escorted her to shopping and sometimes to hospital appointments in a taxi. I later years during the AIDS epidermic in the late 80's and early 90's, I took care of several victims especially on my husbands side. It was heartbreaking to experience the anguish of the affected families. I arrived in the UK during very turbulent political times in Zimbabwe and was accepted as an asylum seeker just after the turn of the new millennium. I started working as a carer beginning of 2002 and was with the same company untill 2010. Besides this company I also worked with several care urgencies during the same time. I also did a degree in Business Information Systems completing in June 2010 and failed to get a job in the field due to the great economic slump of those years. I continued gaining loads of experience in care, besides acquiring NVQ level 3 in Health & Social care. In 2015 I went to Sweden to do a MSc in Business Intelligence at Darlana University at Borlange town. I did not finish the challenging training but rather learnt the Swedish language and was fluent enough to work under the Borlänge town council in their big nursing homes. What a massive experience that was. I got acquainted with almost all sorts of ailments affecting the elderly, besides a wide range of equipment and super training. I relocated back home to England end of 2019 after getting a job as live-in-carer with TheGoodCareGroup. I had excellent training with them and have been working as a live in carer with them eversince. The list of all my capabilities is on my profile. I can manage patients with almost anything, best of all "End of life care". I did that a lot in Sweden. Most of all I have dealt with all stages of dementia care. I am reliable, caring, fun and companionable. I am educated and can discuss any subject intelligently. I can coach the elderly in using the computer. I love to attend church services and I usually go to church saturday because I am a 7th Day Adventist Christian. I am a very fast learner, flexible and interested especially in anything educational. I can cook fairly well besides I can follow recipes very well. I am a top notch housekeeper. For me tidiness and cleanliness are like a religion. I love health eating and mostly eat vegetarian. I love the gym and can try any equipment in the gym. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}
