BH6 5EX 282765 Good day. I’m Gabriella, a kind, compassionate, and experienced live-in carer who dedicated years to providing the utmost care and assistance to those in need. I understand that each of us has unique needs, and I offer personalised care that supports your requirements. I’m excited to learn about you and what is essential and meaningful for you to spend great days together. I’m proud to provide a holistic approach that includes companionship, personal care and a settled presence to support your emotional and mental well-being. I love walking in nature, cycling, swimming, learning Argentine Tango, listening to classical music, practising yoga and learning about wildlife protection and conservation. These interests bring joy to my life and allow me to connect to myself and with you on a deeper level. I’m committed to building trusting relationships and providing the highest care standards. I’m happy to care for your pets and plants too. I'm flexible with working patterns. Ideally, I would work as a live-in carer for a more extended period between Monday and Saturday morning. Otherwise, I can do a couple of weeks on and off or a month on and a week off. If you need respite care or rehabilitation after the hospital, I'm happy to do two to four weeks. I look forward to assisting you and having great times together. Speciality: As an explorer of our beautiful Earth, I offer travel assistance and companionship. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

BH8 9HW 167508 Hi everyone, My name is Helen. I am an experienced care/support worker working in the sector since 2007. Throughout my career, I have always actively participated in continuous personal development gaining not only qualifications but a vast array of experience. I started my career working in domiciliary care, undertaking daily visits to clients in their own homes. This was predominantly working with individuals with early to late-stage dementia and elderly care. However, I also cared for clients with degenerative disease and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. My next role was working within the palliative care team in Christchurch. This involved caring for people in their final weeks of life. This role was not only supporting the individuals to have a dignified, comfortable death but also supporting family and loved ones through this process. In this role, I also worked closely with a multi-disciplinary team that included nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and general practitioners. I currently work as a support worker, supporting people who have learning disabilities and mental health concerns. I am passionate about enabling my clients to live life to the fullest and being as independent as their condition allows. This role allows me to work with people who require very little support day to day, such as finances and shopping as well as people who require full 24-hour packages with two support staff. Throughout my varied career, I have completed care-related NVQ level 2 and 3 qualifications and I have become competent and confident in the following skills: -Palliative care -Medication administration -Accurate record-keeping and auditing of documentation -Writing and reviewing care plans as part of a multidisciplinary team -Catheter care, I have been trained for individual clients by a district nurse and am willing to have specific training for prospective clients as required -Stoma care, I have been trained for individual clients by a district nurse and am willing to have specific training for prospective clients as required. I have my own car which has business insurance allowing me to take clients out if they do not have access to their own transport. This car has enough space for a manual wheelchair if required. This could be useful if the client would like to go shopping, go to activities or want to access outdoor spaces for exercise or just be out in the fresh air. I consider myself to be a very sociable and chatty person and really like to care/support different individuals. I love to cook and I eat a well-balanced diet myself, I would be more than happy to help with nutrition and cooking for anyone who requires this assistance. I am passionate about my job and how I can have a positive impact on other people's lives. I am a very trustworthy and reliable person and being German I like to be organised and on time! The rates I have stated are subject to change based on individual client circumstances. Please get in touch if you need any kind of care or support. No job is to small for me. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

BH23 1DW 24306 I have worked as a private live-in carer through Curamcare since 2020, for clients in Weymouth, Downton (nr Salisbury) and Bere Regis (nr Wareham). Prior to this I was employed by private care companies in Surrey, Dorset & Hampshire, specialising in care for the elderly in their own homes. I also gained experience as an agency carer, working as part of a team within care & nursing homes, specialising in Parkinson's, Dementia and Palliative care. I have worked for a local Charity, supporting young adults with learning and physical disabilities (including Asperger's, Autism, Down's syndrome, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy) to live in a care setting, and within the community in their own homes. I enjoy working for one individual, or perhaps a couple, providing a high level of care to suit the client's routine, preferences and choices. I love dogs and cats, and happy to care for them. Also enjoy helping clients feed their garden birds, and look after their house plants & outdoor pots. I have 9 O levels including Maths & English, A level Business Studies, and Level 3 Institute Legal Executives qualifications. I worked for the legal profession in London & Guildford for many years before retraining and moving to an accountancy position in Dorset. My favourite subject at school was O level food & nutrition (and spending my break times playing tennis & rounders) but these days I enjoy home cooking & baking, and encouraging clients to enjoy their meals. I am a non smoker. In my spare time I enjoy walking my mother's border terrier on the beach, helping my mother-in-law with her gardening and attending social events with the local salmon fishing group (I'm married to a keen angler). I am a positive, happy and calm person, very patient, reliable and hard working. I enjoy a nice strong cup of M&S breakfast tea & relaxed conversation. A bit of a soft spot for a good film/drama, and travel, cooking & art programmes on TV. I am happy to take a client out for a short drive to the local shops, garden centre, local medical appointments etc. I am willing to support a client with personal care during the night, on a waking night basis, if required. Ideally working weekly within 1 hour of Christchurch but will travel 1hour+ from BH23 for a longer placement (I have friends & family in Devon, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent, & London).
