B14 6TY 73316 As a full-time mum of two children, many of my skills have come from being a mother. It taught me to be understanding, communicate better, stay calm in stressful situations, build structure whilst maintaining a routine and complete tasks in a timely manner. Some of my hobbies are cooking, going to the gym, carrying out DIY tasks and doing hairstyles. During my time at Technology College, I have gained an NVQ qualification in Health & Social Care L3. I also achieved a qualification in Customer Service L1, and later on completed the following courses, such as Life Support, Manual Handling, Infection Control, Fire Safety, Safe Guarding L1, Equality & Diversity, First Aid and Food Hygiene L2 I chose this career path because it is a rewarding job, it has flexible hours, I enjoy helping others and there are training opportunities to add to my qualifications. I feel I am a strong candidate due to my rich life experiences, helping me to apply the skills I've gained to be a carer as I am hard-working, punctual, reliable, easy going, qualified for the job and willing to gain more skills.

B31 1HJ 110099 Currently am booked till Friday 28th September 2024. Please continue reading my profile, thank you. I am caring, approachable and a patient person who loves working with people. About 16-17 years ago I gave up my high flying career in sciences to return home to care for my father who has passed away. Then helped Mum with her slow recovery from serious spinal injury. Collectively over 6 years unpaid care experience. Currently I have accumulated 4 years experience as a professional employed carer. I’m a good listener, enjoy learning of others life experiences and history. I enjoy cooking and feeding and trying out new healthy hearty meals which may be vegan, seafood, meat, British, Chinese, Indian, gluten-free, etc. I myself am a pescatarian (vegetarian who eats seafood and fish). I can definitely do a good roast. When my clients eat well, heartily, I know they are happy and doing well. I have worked as a Live In Carer with people with intermediate to advance dementia, Alzheimer's, the elderly with limited mobility due to severe arthritis, spinal and brain injury, as well as difficulty with communication, visually and hearing impaired, accident rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, allergies. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cleaning, medication administration and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full driving license forb business use, take clients for medical appointments, assist with administrative tasks, and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends or a meal. I enjoy watching TV, binge watch series, going to theatre, walks, reading novels, play board games. My home language is English. In addition am fluent speaker in Urdu / Hindi, some Punjabi. I wish I continued with French in school. If you have any questions or think I could help you then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you. Questions are welcome. B29 7DL 171914 I have worked in a care job for over a year, both working as a care assistant and a well-being coordinator. Whilst working as a care assistant, I worked with residents performing personal care whilst upholding dignity and respect with every resident. As a well-being coordinator I got to know each resident on a much more personal level, and would ensure that each interest a resident had was taken into account when planning activities. Creating a personal, whilst still professional, relationship with residents is my favourite thing about working in care, as building trust and respect is so important to me to ensure each individual is shown that they can be comfortable and a that they are an important part to my life, rather than care just being a job to me.

B31 2DJ 116833 A great carer is someone that knows what the individual is in need for; therefore a carer needs to be able to give the best performance of themselves by delivering the best service for their clients. For example, ensure that all the task of the days are being done and respected; perhaps if there are some more task that you can add on if you finish earlier than the time provided, is good to do them to ease the workload for the next shift. Understand individuals condition is part of being a good carer as it will give you a vision of what you are expecting and how you will overcome. I have many years of experience within the care sector and I am willing to complete all duties asked by my clients. I love cooking and cleaning for my clients!
