B31 1HJ 110099 I am caring, approachable and a patient person who loves working with people. About 16-17 years ago I gave up my high flying career in sciences to return home to care for my father who has passed away. Then helped Mum with her slow recovery from serious spinal injury. Collectively over 6 years unpaid care experience. Currently I have accumulated 4 years experience as a professional employed carer. I’m a good listener, enjoy learning of others life experiences and history. I enjoy cooking and feeding and trying out new healthy hearty meals which may be vegan, seafood, meat, British, Chinese, Indian, gluten-free, etc. I myself am a pescatarian (vegetarian who eats seafood and fish). I can definitely do a good roast. When my clients eat well, heartily, I know they are happy and doing well. I have worked as a Live In Carer with people with intermediate to advance dementia, Alzheimer's, the elderly with limited mobility due to severe arthritis, spinal and brain injury, as well as difficulty with communication, visually and hearing impaired, accident rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, allergies. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cleaning, medication administration and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full driving license forb business use, take clients for medical appointments, assist with administrative tasks, and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends or a meal. I enjoy watching TV, binge watch series, going to theatre, walks, reading novels, play board games. My home language is English. In addition am fluent speaker in Urdu / Hindi, some Punjabi. I wish I continued with French in school. If you have any questions or think I could help you then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you. Questions are welcome. Depending on distance can arrange in person meeting after an initial Curam Meet video call.

My journey into care started in 2019, when I was just 19, but the seeds were planted long before then. Growing up, I watched my mother care lovingly for my grandmother, showing patience and kindness through every moment. It was through her example that I learned the importance of being present for others and how much of a difference genuine care can make. I am deeply passionate about looking after the elderly and see it as more than just a job—it’s a commitment to making someone’s life more comfortable and dignified. While care work can be challenging, I’ve come to embrace these moments as part of what makes the role so meaningful. For me, it’s about giving the best of myself to ensure my clients and their families feel supported, respected, and cared for. I truly love what I do and take pride in building trusting, heartfelt relationships with those I look after. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones soon and providing the care and kindness you deserve.

B31 2DJ 116833 A great carer is someone that knows what the individual is in need for; therefore a carer needs to be able to give the best performance of themselves by delivering the best service for their clients. For example, ensure that all the task of the days are being done and respected; perhaps if there are some more task that you can add on if you finish earlier than the time provided, is good to do them to ease the workload for the next shift. Understand individuals condition is part of being a good carer as it will give you a vision of what you are expecting and how you will overcome. I have many years of experience within the care sector and I am willing to complete all duties asked by my clients. I love cooking and cleaning for my clients!

B16 0AF 179583 I’m a kind person who had always been willing to do something significant for this world , help those who are in need , support those who seek support and be a reliable friend for those who respect my open heart. In my country I was a massage therapist and I was providing teaching as well and recommended myself as a trustworthy person to who everybody would come for advice and help. When I came to the United Kingdom because of the war I was searching for a job where I can feel myself right. I became a carer and this is when I understood that every moment of communication with my clients , proving them the best possible quality of life is my responsibility and pleasure. I’m proud to be between those whose presence in one's life is significant and vital.

B32 3UE 296643 I have been in the care industry since 2009. But, I had already been part of a charity that looks after poor people in hospital back home in Africa, Burundi in my teen age years. I have worked in a nursing home, which gave me a lot of experience in care but also helped me to understand my new adopted country, it's traditions and people values from talking to the residents, their families and co-workers. I then moved to hospital and gained even more experience as it is quite different from care homes. I got access to a lot of training. I then moved from hospital to the community and have the opportunity to look after people in their own homes. It is a eye opener and it raised my desire to go into that community space. I believe looking after 1 or 2 people at a time provides better care. I also had an opportunity to go back to university to train and I am a registered nurse associate. I have a lot of experience in different areas such as catheter care, stoma and ileostomy care, peg feeding and more. I am experienced in manual handling and quite familiar with a lot of equipment. I also have a wide experience in wound care and diabetes blood sugar monitoring. I am as well familiar with medication administration and believe that I am very suited to look after people with various conditions and needs. Working in NHS district nursing as a nursing associate, I have a good knowledge of working with other healthcare professionals. I regularly communicate with GPs, physiotherapist and different therapists. I am trained to look at patients in a holistic manner and make needed referrals to quickly and efficiently tackle patients needs. I am as well familiar with post operation patients, can support them into their recovery and help them gain back their independence. I am happy to look after male and female clients. I have a UK full driving license with a business insurance. I am willing to transport patients to and from appointments or other social outings. I can provide personal care, light house work and cooking. I am a good communicator and I like to keep good records of meetings and will make sure every one that need to be informed of changes or decision making is kept consulted in due time. I believe I have the heart, the passion, the knowledge and the experience to provide a high standard of care to the community and Curam is a great vessel to facilitate my dreams. Thank you.
