CF43 4RH 64166 Overnight/Hourly calls only at the moment, currently only have some availability mon-fri. I am a driver and will travel for calls as long as it fits in with current obligations. I have seven years experience as a carer and have learned how to promote dignity and independence in clients through my previous work. I understand that not all people have the same requirements and that everyone likes different approaches to the same activity. I'm personable, intuitive, efficient, and have a good understanding of how to make clients as comfortable as possible with every task. I enjoy figuring out the best approach to use when dealing with people who have dementia, I find it especially rewarding when I get a positive response with something. I also enjoy finding different ways of working if something doesn't work for clients, I'm adaptable and like making things easier for people. I'm an avid reader and also write in my spare time. I used to work in the hospitality industry for 15 years and was a relief manager for pubs and restaurants around South Wales.
