RG1 7XR 163590 I have worked in the health industry for over 12 years. I have worked in both domiciliary and live-in care. I have looked after children, adults, and able and bedbound clients, providing personal care, cooking, gardening, cleaning the house, washing and ironing, shopping, and socializing with the clients and their friends and family. I love working as a carer, being in this industry has taught me to be very respectful towards the needy, they are individuals, and their dignity should be respected irrespective of their current situation. I have looked after members of my family who needed care and I have concluded that it may be me one day so I do my best to be a good carer regardless of who my client may be. I love to work as a carer, even though I get paid, I am offering a service and I make sure I do my best to make my client feel comfortable and assured. I love to cook especially cooking a balanced meal to suit the needs of the client. I am flexible in my cooking and always ready to learn new skills. I can drive but do not have my car, I am willing to drive my client's car provided they have insurance that will cover me driving their car, I have driven for over 30 years. I am happy to have my 2-hour break every day or can have a day off in a week whichever the client prefers. I would like to have a two-week settling-in period and can work from 6 weeks, but would like a week halfway between the long period that we agree that I work. I would like my travel expenses paid for both to and back from my home. I hope I can work with you to help make your life comfortable and happier. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4, 5, 3"}

OX16 5DR 283827 My name is Angeline. I have 22 years of experience in care in the UK. I have worked in different sectors of care such as in hospitals, residential and care homes, supported living homes, day centres, and supporting or caring for individuals in their own homes. For the last 14 years I have been delivering care as a live in carer and I have cared for 2 long term clients within this time. I am very well trained and I have certificates to prove that. I am kind, compassionate, patient, honest and very hard working, to name the few. I love my work as it gives me pleasure to be able to give my services to those who are not able or no longer able to help themselves. My clients are my priority. I respect their privacy and dignity, and they always come first before me. I am also very keen to learn from them too and I am a good listener. When starting with a new client I prefer to have a 2 week settling in period, after this time if everyone is happy with my services I can deliver 6 weeks of care and 1 week off. I am happy to travel throughout the UK as long as travelling expenses are covered both ways by my future clients. I hold a clean UK driving licence and I am comfortable driving clients manual cars if required. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"3"}

For the last four months till date, I have been working as a PA with spinal cord injury clients. I now work with learning disabilities people and I'm also a nursing student. I have always loved my job because it gives me satisfaction being helpful to people and trying to put a smile on their faces. Well clients always say I'm very patient, compassionate, empathetic and always having a smile on my face. In my spare time, I like doing sports especially jogging, reading novels, cooking new recipes, going out with friends and going out for shopping. I don't smoke, not good with animals and I'm not a vegetarian. I think it is a real honour to be able to support someone and enable them to live happily in their homes. It takes many skills to be a good carer- kindness, empathy, approachability, sensitivity and quick thinking are just a few of the vital skills I possess. I am exceptionally patient and a good listener. I really enjoy talking with others, learning about people and spending time doing things they enjoy. I believe it is really important to promote someone’s independence, so I like to spend time helping set goals and targets, then assisting them to reach those goals. My all round experience in care comes from domiciliary and live in care. I constantly learn on the job and I like to reflect on my performance daily because it improves me as an individual and enables me to be a good carer. I like to provide a lot of communication with the clients, listening and understanding what they say, being sensitive to their emotional state and mental capacity, providing the best personal care, while seeking their consent in everything I do with them. I believe a healthy, balanced diet is key to a person feeling energised and happy, so I love to cook wholesome meals for people. I am adventurous with food and am willing to try cooking new recipes. I think it is very important to build up a trusting relationship with my clients so I am very conscious of their needs and make sure they feel comfortable to communicate openly with me at all times- this is so important for the client to feel heard. I feel I am good at reading people so I can pick up on a person’s mood easily, enabling me to react in a way that is positive and makes the person feel at ease and safe. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

OX18 3SJ 275824 After caring for my own parents for 4 years, I realised that this is what I wanted to do. For the past 16 years, I have worked as a live-in carer, so my clients can continue living independently in their own homes. I support and care for their needs, wants, and interests. My approach is person-centered, which means I provide care and support in a way that the client desires. I am caring, adaptable, reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking, and self-motivated, I also have a warm, kind, and friendly approach as a carer (not forgetting my funny side). I have worked with clients with dementia, mobility issues, and diabetes. I have experience with clients who require hoists, chairlifts, monitoring blood glucose levels, stoma, and catheters (male and female), I do not have certificates for these, but I am happy to have the district nurses sign off on my level of training, I am always willing to learn new skills to care for a client. Caring for a client at home has proven to be beneficial to their health and wellbeing. As part of my daily routine, I help my clients with activities of daily living, cook meals, and ensure that prescribed medications and exercises are followed. I am especially vigilant for signs that my client is feeling unwell, and I do not hesitate to schedule an appointment with the doctor. This is especially true for UTIs. Over the years, I have become adept at recognising the first signs of a UTI. Symptoms aren't always obvious, but they can be painful, and so early diagnosis and treatment are critical. Medication compliance is also important, so I ensure that prescriptions are filed quickly A balanced diet is important, and I enjoy cooking traditional homemade meals, such as roast dinners, casseroles, cottage/shepherd pies, macaroni and cheese, light meals, and salads. To ensure social engagement, I enjoy chatting with my clients and going on outings to garden centres, the National Trust, shopping, and church. I believe that the quality of care I provide, and warm, kind and friendly manner as a carer is why I have had several long-term clients (6½ years, 3¾ years, and 2 years). For new clients, I suggest a two-week settling-in period and then happy to extend to 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Public holidays are charged at double the daily rate. I own my own car, and I am fully covered for business car insurance, there is a charge of £0.45/mile when driving clients around. I am available to work anywhere in the UK. On my time off, I am looking for regular clients I can cover a few nights a week, ideally fitting into an existing Curam micro team. 2 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
