W12 7BB 44173 I have had over fifteen years of experience as a private carer in London for the elderly, frail, unwell and those with disabilities. My responsibilities have included companionship, shopping, organising doctor/dentist/eye appointments/business meetings, and helping my clients maintain their social lives by arranging lunches and gatherings. Some clients just want company and a listening ear without feeling they are a ‘burden’ to their friends and family. I oversee the smooth running of their households, including any additional care (e.g. nursing) and admin, making sure bills are paid and filed. I am committed to helping my clients have a great quality of life. With the right help in place, I like to think getting older should be a pleasure not a disability. I have trained with Florence Academy and have qualified in Care Certificate module 1-15. I have also trained in learning disabilities mental capacity equality diversity dignity in care, and many other training courses in this field. Many thanks

W3 7HG 51590 I have a heart for helping people. I've always worked in care- I started in child care for 5 years and after my daughter was born with complex needs I got to see the medical side of care. I have now been working with adults for multiple years- I specialise in palliative/end of live, but also have experience with domiciliary, home support and assistance. I have on the job experience in stoma & catheter care. I don't have hoisting experience but happy to learn, I am happy to do turning, repositioning and walking assistance with another person present. I enjoy cooking healthy meals and have a lot of amazing recipes passed down from my mum and grandmothers. I am able to assist in cooking to create yummy balanced meals for my clients. I have a driving license and will be happy to transport clients as well as do some grocery shopping if they need it, I also have my own car that I can use. I am very flexible and happy to work 5 out of 7 days, although I would require 2 weekends in a month off. I am grateful to be able to support my clients and their families and make their days more manageable. Every day is a day to make a difference in someone's life and this is the most fulfilling job I've ever done.

SW6 7UB 1070 Hi, my name is Joanne and I have been in the care industry for over 9 years. I became a carer from a personal experience. I have a slight disability with my arm and have limited use of it but this does not stop me working and caring for others in a professional way and am still able to use hoists and provide personal care plus a number of other duties. I have managed to follow my passion regardless of my own disability, which is supporting clients live independently in their own homes. I have experience caring for clients in residential homes, nursing homes in the community doing door to door care and I have also provided live-in care also. I have always had a passion for care and looking after people, I have always wanted to do care from a young age ever since I started helping my mum care for my grandma who suffered from a mental health illness. I also get on well with people and I am always here to provide companionship and support. I am often told that I have a great sense of humour.
