CT16 1QS 275032 I have 5+ years of experience in care and have had the privilege of caring for many wonderful people and I also have cared for some until their passing. I believe that every individual requires to be given support through their conditions with dignity and respect and to also be supported to have a fulfilling life in whichever stage they may be of their life. At the heart of all care is the individual first and making sure their care needs are met. I strongly believe in person centred care. I also have supported other carers about health and safety when supporting our service users. These are some of my strengths and also knowing that kindness, compassion, honesty come naturally when i know that caring for others is my calling. I also have learnt to stay calm and level headed when faced with challenges as sometimes challenges may arise.

CT1 3PL 263889 I am a mother of three children. I moved to Bridge from Belfast in 2020. I love meeting people, sports, walking, making acquaintances, traveling, and cooking. I have been working in care for three years since I moved to Bridge. I am compassionate about caring for people and making a positive difference to their lives and I have the commitment and values to make a real difference to the lives of people with care needs. I am very passionate about empowering vulnerable adults to help them improve their quality of life. I am caring warm, friendly, and full of empathy. I believe everyone deserves to live a life in happiness and free from harm, regardless of disability, age, or ethnicity, and as such I have a responsibility to safeguard vulnerable adults in care needs because they are human beings with wants and needs, and I love to support them in maintaining a good quality of life. I can undertake Key Worker responsibilities to work with an individual in promoting independence and regaining self-belief and form positive relationships with service users, families, and other professionals. I am calm, patient, observant resourceful, and energetic and I treat people with dignity and respect and promptly act on any concerns I have about them. I am highly motivated, hardworking, and keen to support people in need of care in a proactive manner. Taking a person-centred approach when taking care of vulnerable adults is vital to me because it enables me to place the person's well-being and needs at the forefront of my every safeguarding care. I love to meet people, watch sports, take a walk, volunteer work, cook and travel.

CT20 2PT 5663 I am a carer with over 10 years experience. I worked for one family only for over 6 years. I was in charge of a large house and was trusted the management of the household supervising other staff. I was in charge of the care of the father of the owner. He suffered from Alzheimers but remained in family home up to the end of his life. I cared for him, managing his medication, dressing, accompanying him to outings and hospital appointments. I slept in at the house whilst the owners were working abroad. More recently I have been caring for a 100 year old through a private contact sleeping in the house. This job started as a once a week companionship and was gradually increased to ’job share’ with the client’s daughter one week on/one week off sleeping in the house and cooking a hot evening meal. This has enabled the client to remain independent in her own home. The client has now moved to live with the her family. I completed a week’s training course with Nurse+ and consequently worked in my local Community as a carer before my private employment. Recently I have cared for a lady with Parkinson’s disease and dementia. I have completed my Health Education England, skills for care and Skills for health Certificate. I am a multi linguist and foreign languages are my passion. I worked for a diplomatic overseas service. I speak fluent spanish, french and finnish. I have gained a Diploma in french language and In my spare time I offer language lessons to private individuals. I go to local sports centre regularly to work out and I enjoy swimming too. My strength is my vast experience in the care sector. I am patient, cheerful and calm under pressure. I enjoy working with elderly and my own interest in current affairs and knowledge of different countries and cultures has helped in conversations with adults that I have cared for. I am physically able and in excellent health which helps when caring for a vulnerable person.

CT19 4QG 23925 Previous live in Carer of 8 years. Excellent references from those I cared for in that time. I left a career in Law Enforcement in order to return to Care, as I missed the great sense of satisfaction and contentment that helping others to lead full lives brings. I have a very large area of interests, the number one being an interest in people, and their lives.
