Based in West London, I have developed a strong passion for supporting others and making a positive impact on their lives. Throughout my career, I have built a reputation for my empathy, professionalism, and my genuine desire to go above and beyond to ensure the comfort and well-being of those in my care. Empathy is at the core of my approach. I believe that every individual is unique, with their own set of needs, preferences, and experiences. By listening carefully and understanding the emotional and physical needs of those I care for, I am able to provide support that is tailored and respectful. I am committed to treating each person with dignity, ensuring that they feel heard and valued. Professionalism is equally important to me. I take great pride in maintaining a high standard of care while ensuring that I am reliable, punctual, and proactive in addressing any concerns. Whether it's assisting with daily activities, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I approach every task with the utmost responsibility and attention to detail. I am always willing to go the extra mile, whether it's staying late to support someone or finding creative ways to help them feel more comfortable and independent. Outside of my professional life, I am an athletic individual who enjoys sports and staying active. I believe in leading a healthy lifestyle and am always up for a challenge, whether it’s a run in the park or a workout at the gym. I also appreciate downtime, whether it’s enjoying a good cup of coffee or watching TV to unwind. Though based in West London, I am open to opportunities further afield, always seeking new ways to grow and bring my skills to different communities. I look forward to continuing my journey as a carer and making a lasting, positive difference in the lives of those I support. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

SW6 7UB 1070 Hi, my name is Joanne and I have been in the care industry for over 9 years. I became a carer from a personal experience. I have a slight disability with my arm and have limited use of it but this does not stop me working and caring for others in a professional way and am still able to use hoists and provide personal care plus a number of other duties. I have managed to follow my passion regardless of my own disability, which is supporting clients live independently in their own homes. I have experience caring for clients in residential homes, nursing homes in the community doing door to door care and I have also provided live-in care also. I have always had a passion for care and looking after people, I have always wanted to do care from a young age ever since I started helping my mum care for my grandma who suffered from a mental health illness. I also get on well with people and I am always here to provide companionship and support. I am often told that I have a great sense of humour. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

I believe I am a great carer because I perform my tasks from the heart. I have had other jobs before but with Care work, I feel I don’t have to try too hard. I do it naturally. Compassion and how I would like others to care for me when I can’t perform certain tasks underpins how I care for others. I have experience spanning over 10 years with breaks in between. I specialise in old-age related illnesses: dementia, cancer, stroke and lately, have ventured into palliative and End of life care. I have recently refreshed my Care certificate and am up to speed with current issues in the Care sector. I believe in being part of the solution in solving the care crisis: staff and training shortages. During Covid-19 lockdown, I played a part in training fellow carers in Prevention and Infection control. I am also up-to-date with compliancy and policy requirements. My experience has enabled me to carry out risk assessments, communicate and coordinate clients’ needs with the right professionals: district nurses, Occupational Therapists, pharmacies etc. I am generally a happy person who enjoys spreading this happiness to others who may be feeling low. I also love music and can dance. ** Only available for weekly live-in during school breaks** {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

NW9 5WS 160612 I have 5 years experience in the Carer industry backed up by great training in food hygiene, Dementia care, manual handling & Oxygen administration. l have hoisting experience & sara stedy lnformally I have had a chance to look after my parents(in their 80s) for several years. Over these years, I have developed a compassionate approach and have great empathy for my clients. I am hardworking, very kind, a great listener, patient and always able to work at my client's pace. I dare say cooking is one of my great passions and I do it very well. I am always happy to prepare healthy meals in a clean environment for my clients. l have cared for a PSP client for 5 months & had to feed her, use nebuliser when struggling to swallow, hoisting her & supporting her in all her limited speech. I have worked as a live in carer for several clients in their nineties with ■late dementia ■hoisting ■handled medication administration ■one was on oxgyen ■continence care ■personal care & companionship ■housework & cleaning■ cooking. I have trained & experience in using oxgyen cylinders & oxgyen condenser for my clients I have worked with several people with dementia. ln Sept 2022, I had a chance of working with a 90 year old lady with dementia and she had great challenges sleeping at night, so I had to patiently talk to her up to late in the night and slowing encourage her to bed, some times with no sleep but settled as much as possible. I have also worked with people with cerebral palsy and PEG feeding. In August 2022 l had a privilege of caring for a young girl (19years) while her family took off some time on holiday. I had to hoist her into bed and wheel chair, she was PEG feeding and l had to manage that using an infusion machine, I was responsible for all her bathes and hygiene care to ensure she was comfortable. I had to do all cooking & cleaning. Before becoming a carer, l trained in early years and used to work with young children. This experience boosted my caring ability and it made it easier for me to care for people of all ages. I love reading, cooking and baking. I look forward to your contact and I am sure I will be able to deliver a great caring service. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4, 3"}

SW15 4NG 281575 I am a patient, hard-working, and good listener with over 3 years of experience as a carer. My approach is compassionate and thoughtful—I take the time to listen to my clients, allowing me to understand their interests and help them enjoy their hobbies. My caring nature, combined with a dedicated work ethic, makes a positive difference in the lives of those I care for. I have worked with clients in the early stages of dementia, chronic conditions, and early to advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease. I am experienced in supporting clients with both passive and active exercises prescribed by physiotherapists, providing companionship, home help, and personal care services. I provide full personal care for bedridden clients, particularly those recovering from strokes or in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s. I can also support clients during hospital stays, assisting with personal grooming, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning, medication management, and other administrative tasks. I enjoy accompanying clients on gentle walks in the park or sitting together at home, sharing a conversation or reading. I typically work on an hourly basis, but I am also available for overnights and respite care as needed. All arrangements are negotiable. With over eight years of experience as a qualified oversea-consultant doctor in A&E, I am currently preparing for the General Medical Council registration exams. Working as a carer allows me to apply my medical knowledge and caregiving skills meaningfully during this time. I am comfortable working around pets, as long as hygiene procedures align with my clients' needs. In my spare time, I volunteer for a charity. I am keen on sports, such as tennis, both watching and playing, running, workouts. Recently I had a beginner rowing/sculling course. I also have skills in knitting and lace making. I enjoy painting, reading, playing board games, such as backgammon, Chinese checkers. I love theatre, musicals, and museum visits, with the Natural History Museum being a personal favourite. Healthy eating and preparing nutritious meals are passions of mine, and I am always eager to learn and explore new interests. If you think I could help you, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible and would be happy to assist. I feel absolutely passionate about caring for people (and animals) and it gives me great joy. I enjoy communicating with everyone and anyone, young or old, but could also be a great listening ear. Ticking off tasks, however big or small drives and motivates me and I am absolutely up for a challenge. It would be great to know where our interests and/or hobbies overlap or learn a new skill to enjoy with my clients.
