I hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, and my annual mandatory training is all up to date. I am fully insured and registered with the DBS update service. I enjoy working in care because of the constantly evolving challenge of providing a high quality service and the satisfaction of working with amazing individuals to help them continue to lead lives they love. Above all, I love being able to bring hope and support in the face of circumstances that can feel overwhelming. Everyone is different and finding the right care is an extremely personal choice. I am a recently retired gentleman very fit and healthy and I have opted to stay active in my retirement and contribute and help care for people who are less fortunate than myself. I have over the years cared for my wife who has lived with MS for most of her adult life and also more recently my daughter who is downs syndrome and now a 36 year old beautiful caring person herself. I have been active in personal care and worked directly for two local care companies in the last year gaining and completing all manual handling aspects inclusive of hoists and walking aids. I am passionate and always aim to deliver a level of care and attention that could and will never be matched by the large impersonal care agencies. I am confident and happy to support clients with most age related needs and help required.
