My name is Beauty. I have done voluntary work with Mornington food bank where I used to help pack, check the expiry dates and make tea or coffee for those in need when they come in to collect food. I also worked with NICRAS [Northern Ireland community of Refugee and asylum seekers] in a group of ethnic minority women I assisted with the importance of a cv, organised women groups where we would have so many trainings and meetings. I also did voluntary work for destitute and asylum seekers, assisted with cooking, dishes and cleaning up the kitchen and lounge area. When I was granted my refugee leave to remain I went into the health sector as a carer, I have been in the industry for 7 years and it is my passion to do this job. I am a team player who can fit quick in any team. I am a timekeeper and mom who cares and empathises with everyone in difficult situations. I am a retired nurse and worked for the NHS for 30 years in cancer/palliative care, which often involved the care of older patients. Compassion, hard work, and excellent communication and organisational skills were required. After retiring I cared for a friend’s parents in their own home for over 4 years, providing companionship, personal care, and help with mobility. I have also cared for both my parents and parents-in-law, helping with pain management, dementia symptoms, skin care, incontinence, and oxygen therapy. I can prepare and cook nutritional meals and carry out light household tasks. Whilst I have no pets of my own, I would be comfortable working in a home with pets, and this can be evaluated on an ongoing basis. Treating everyone with dignity and respect, and aiming to make their lives more comfortable and enjoyable, is the reason I work with those who require some help. I am looking for clients that are physically more mobile and do not require hoisting. With my nursing experience I can follow physiotherapy care plans and assist and motivate clients with exercises/mobility. Hopefully after reading this you will consider allowing me to provide the assistance you currently need. Can facilitate customers living in BT6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
