Through SVQ II, HNC Care Practice, I have the knowledge and skills to provide quality care. I have gained the skills on recording information accurately with due regard for confidentiality within the policies guidelines. I am able to observe, assess, evaluate and report anything of health and safety concern and everything I do in line with Code of Conduct and SSSC Law and National Care Standards in Scotland. I am computer literate to update the changes and updating family and health professionals as required. I have gained the importance of giving respect, choice, privacy and dignity to anyone at all times. I am a mature, responsible person with a very caring nature. I believe in giving the best to the less privileged people through my own life experiences. Loosing a son through death who battled with a chronic illness for a very long time has made me get satisfaction working with people in similar situations. It has given me a depth understanding of how it is rewarding to help such people to have full meaningful lives through my personal attitude and being sympathetic. My working experience has equipped me with the importance of working as a team to achieve a set goal by being honest and transparent. I have managed to work and prioritise my work. I have a commitment to punctuality and reliability and flexibility. My other personal qualities are being able to support other people emotionally, listening and being trustworthy. I am able to communicate in English both written and verbally to represent the organisation's values, and work cooperatively with service users, families, colleagues and outside agencies.
