I’ve been working in the care sector for around 15years, supporting both adults and young people with a wide range of needs. My experience includes care at home, residential children’s services, respite care, and supporting individuals with complex disabilities in their own homes. I hold a BA (Hons) in Social Work and an HNC in Counselling, and I’m fully PVG-checked and registered with the SSSC. Over the years I’ve supported people with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, behaviours that challenge and individuals needing emotional, social, or practical support. I provide personal care, companionship, community support, medication assistance, and day-to-day living support with dignity, patience, and a calm, steady approach. Care is something I genuinely enjoy. I like getting to know the people I support, building trust, and helping them stay comfortable and independent in their own homes. I believe great care is built on communication, consistency and respect, and I always aim to bring a positive, professional energy into every visit. My background gives me strong skills in safeguarding, de-escalation, TCI/POB, record-keeping, and person-centred planning. Whether I’m supporting someone with daily routines or providing social companionship, my focus is always on creating a safe, supportive environment where the person feels valued and understood. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, and keeping active. I’m down-to-earth, reliable, and easy to talk to, and I take pride in delivering high-quality care that suits each individual’s needs and preferences.
I have worked as a healthcare assistant and carer over the years. I started from care home , then moved to nhs. I was in the peak of Covid working as HCA in emergency department king’s college hospital in London. I decided to progress by enrolling to do nursing. I have been a registered adult nurse since October 2024 and I still work as carer at my leisure. It is my responsibility and duty of care to protect people I am caring for. I know that for anyone to depend on care services, the person must be vulnerable in one way or the other. However, everyone is different and persons centre care must be considered. Looking after people helps them to enjoy at least a bit of quality of life. Assisting either patients, client, resident most time prolong their lifespan. It is my duty of care to make sure people depending on my services have up to date assessments. They must have choices and liberty towards their desires. I have passion for my career. I am so in love with putting smile on people face base and getting positive feedback from them. I have done a lot of indoor trainings with king’s college hospital which they do not allow us to go with the certificate. They have issued me with my care certificate which covers the indoors trainings. I will be greatly grateful to work for you ( service users) and your families. However, I will make sure I make myself flexible to suit my service user. Your care is a priority. I believe that this is the right time to join as healthcare assistant or support worker. Thanks
As an accomplished and seasoned professional, I bring an extensive background of success in this field, along with a passion and training which are required to make a positive impact in this role as a health care assistant. I offer a combination of unique skills and competencies which I have developed through a lengthy and rewarding career. I have honed vital sign monitoring and medication administration skills while being proficient in care plan assessment. I have worked in various hospitals around the country, the latest one being Inverclyde hospital in Greenock. I have looked after the elderly, disabled. people with dementia, alzheimer's etc. In previous roles I contributed to organisational improvements, collaborative team effort and attainment of key business targets. I offer the interpersonal, communication and meal planning and preparation capabilities that you require in a new support worker. Please feel free to contact me for additional career details and background. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. I am looking for clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting until I get my training certificates up to date. I am able to care for female and male clients. Currently I am looking for regular live in clients approximately on a 3 week on & 1 week off rotation however I can be flexible if required. If live in is not available I can also work regular day shifts of longer hours 8/12 hour shifts. On my live in rotation down time I can pick up a few night shifts also. I am to travel throughout the UK as long as travelling expenses are covered both ways by my future clients.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the care sector, including roles as a mental health nurse and community nurse, I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt compassion to the people I support. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to provide person-centred care that respects each individual’s dignity, story, and unique needs. Clients often tell me that they feel genuinely seen and heard when they’re with me — and many regularly request that I return. I believe this is because I don’t just provide care; I build real relationships. I bring laughter, warmth, and light into people’s homes, and I’m deeply respectful of the journeys they’ve been on. I’m known for being honest, reliable, and adaptable. I have strong communication skills and can comfortably work as part of a team or independently. Whether I’m providing companionship, helping with daily routines, or simply sharing a conversation over a cup of tea, I always aim to make people feel comfortable and valued. One of my personal joys is cooking — I’ve cooked a wide variety of delicious meals over the years, and many clients tell me they miss my cooking when I’m not around! It’s a small thing, but one that adds comfort and care to someone’s day. As a Care Professional, no two days are the same, but a typical day with me includes attentive personal care, emotional support, a good bit of humour, and shared moments that can brighten even the cloudiest day. I believe in companionship as much as care — whether it’s a walk, a chat, or just being present, I strive to make every visit meaningful. I’m available on a regular basis and can work flexibly to suit the needs of clients and families. I look forward to supporting more people with compassion, respect, and a smile.
