I am a good lister and like listening to my clients. Like reading and watching movies too. Get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
PERSONAL STATEMENT From Svetlana My name is Svetlana, birth in North Macedonia, City Kavadarci. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a doctor. But life conditions did not allow me this right. I studied midwifery at the Higher Medical School in University. I studied in The Erasmus Mundus Programme In my three years there, I learned about the uniqueness of women's anatomy and the special care they require in different situations. I also learned about how a midwife's role is constantly evolving as practices are updated. The dynamic nature of the role is what keeps me interested. In my final year at university, I was also in a part-time placement where I received direct training from other midwives. In that year, I was frequently involved in antenatal and postnatal care delivery for women and gained experience From my understanding, this skill is what helps you build better relationships with the people under your care. One of the ways I have demonstrated effective communication skills is through public speaking. During my time at university, I was a member of the debate team. This was where I honed my ability to share information clearly and concisely while maintaining control and respect for others, working with the different members of maternity care service providers. Because my big ambition I decide to come here in UK to develop my Midwifery scils, exchange the scils and learn for new knowledge and technics. So even now, even at an older age, I still do not give up on learning. I get the job in Nursing homes and worked mostly with the elderly. I've already learned to recognize pain in people just by their contorted face. There I worked with patients suffering from Alzheimer's, Dementia, with patients who are totally dependent on a ventilator and have a tracheostomy, Brain injury, stroke, spine cord injury, HIV patients and many other health and high level complex problems. and came to understand their frustration at being unable to communicate effectively, and I also tended to the needs of terminally ill patients, learning in this way the emotional demands of nursing but also gaining a deep sense of reward from feeling that I had contributed to their welfare during their final weeks and days. I've already learned to recognize pain in people just by their contorted face, but even if I wanted to help more, I was only a Care Practitioner and I couldn't. Now that I am already here in the right place, I secretly believe in myself that I will finish the course in record time so that I can prove myself in the profession and help people's health problems. So even now, even at an older age, I still do not give up on learning. As a Physician Associate I see myself as very happy, but also able to treat not only in general practice but also to be of benefit to many pregnant women because of my experience as a Midwife and a Nurse where I worked in hospitals in North Macedonia. Here in England so far I have only worked in nursing homes, and mostly with the elderly. As a Physician Associate I see myself as very happy and sucesifull profesionalist, but also able to treat not only in general practice but also to be of benefit to many pregnant women because of my experience as a Midwife where I worked in hospitals in North Macedonia.
