I am a 48 year old female, I have been working in the care environment for 18 years in care homes, domiciliary care and private live-in care, which gave me range of experience with many different conditions, mostly with care for elderly clients with dementia and clients with stroke. I am a kind, caring and honest person. Rather quiet with a calming influence. I have a calm quiet whippet who comes to work when delivering live in care with me and this makes my clients smile. I’m hoping to register her as PAT dog. My interests in my free time are walking, tropical fish keeping, reading, yoga, pilates and listening to classical music. Thank you for your time and consideration in reading my profile.
I am Caroline I am 51 years old and a mum to my daughter Danni who’s 25. I have been in the care sector since 2006. I am a very happy-go-lucky and positive person, who very much enjoys being with people. I have a very caring nature, I am a good listener & I like to have a giggle! I am a very punctual person, organised, flexible & I do like to clean! I'm told I make a great cuppa!! I'm a good cook who believes in great nutritious foods, although I do make great cakes also! I starting off in schools full time, I worked also part time & eventually full time with care agencies, respite Carer & live-in Carer. I have always had a passion for people, therefore, I believe everyone is entitled & deserves the very best of care. Even more so after nursing my mum until her end-of-life to liver cancer & my father who had very late stages of advanced Alzheimers and sadly passed away the end of August 2021. It is paramount that every individual has the utmost respect, dignity, independence whilst feeling safe & looked after. I understand how difficult & unnerving it is to have carers come in and look after your loved ones as I have been in that situation with my Father. I have extensive experience with many disabilities, conditions & diseases. These are: Cancer, Alzheimers, Dementia, Autism, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Brain injury, muscle wasting diseases, Parkinson’s, Angel-mans syndrome, Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Arthritis, Chromosome 12 Deletion, profound & multiple learning disabilities, paralysis & much experience with children with no statement of their conditions. My experience includes all aspect of personal care, administering medication, gasrostomty feeding, administering insulin, stoma, perristeen , catheter, BiPAP, nebulisers, oxygen & rectal paraldehyde. I have been driving on a full licence since I was 18 (more years than I care to think about!) and I have driven many large buses/vehicles. I love my family & I love to travel, very much enjoy cooking (I am gluten, caffeine & dairy free purely through choice but that does not affect my support for those who aren't by any means), going to the gym & keeping fit (I like to eat lots of fruit & veg) Tennis, swimming, horse riding, I love the countryside, animals, walking , watching tv, cinema, theatre, reading and all sorts of card & board games.
I am empathetic, compassionate warm friendly person with a passion for caring and looking after people. I believe everyone should be enabled to live the life they desire until the very end of their life. I work close with the families to ensure their loved ones are in safe hands. Providing you with the peace of mind you deserve. I was a hairdresser for 40 years and ran my own business. Before transitioning in to the care world during the pandemic. I have three grown up children all married and 8 grandchildren. I love being out in nature’s walking my dog Ozwald whilst socialising with family and friends. When not caring for my clients. Feel free to contact me for any more information. I look forward to hearing from you. PLEASE NOTE: My rates of pay start at 25ph. Plus fuel charged at .45p per mile. To and from your home to mine.
Hello, My name is Reda and I’m excited to tell you more about myself. I'm a reliable, gentle, intelligent and committed individual who loves taking care of others. I got a master's degree in social work, but I never imagined that working with elderly and disabled people would fill my life with so much meaning. I’m a hard worker and I’m always willing to go the extra mile in order to help others. I’m choosing to work as a self-employed carer as I find this way, having all responsibility myself, I am able make my clients' lives more comfortable than when working for an agency. I value dignity, respect and privacy, and I also aim to form trusting bonds with my clients.
