I have worked in the care industry for 20 years l am committed to my job. l am kind and honest always focused on the client and to give them the best care they need l enjoy helping other people making a difference in their lives. Working in the care it has build my confidence through the trainings. l support elderly people who suffer from Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Stroke, Parkinson’s and MS. I assist with personal cares, doing laundry, l prepare and cook healthy meals, l keep them companions Moving and handling using hoist, the use of slide sheet. l am self motivated and well organised, I work well as part of a team with my focus towards the client as well their families. l am always thirsty for knowledge with open mind. I am looking for long term clients as I prefer to get to know my clients needs so I can deliver the best possible care, ideally 3/4 weeks and the 1/2 weeks off however this depends on the clients condition. When on my weeks off I am happy to pick up some overnight work ideally 2/3 nights per week. When delivering live in care I prefer to have my 2 hour break each day. I am happy to travel throughout the UK for work as long as travelling expenses are covered 1 way by my future clients. I have no experience of caring for animals however I am aware that alot of clients have pets as companions so I am happy to learn how to care for them as long as they are friendly and well trained. I enjoy my job giving support to the elderly making a difference in their daily lives.l am flexible and available to any duties fitting well to situations.
