I am available for home care visits, 24 hour Live in care package (part time) , home help or sitting with loved ones (min 2 hours) Late notice emergency visits (Min 2 hours) Hospital discharges visits, sit in service, Home Help, Companion visits, even if your loved ones needed a visit for a chat and a cuppa, anything considered. I am a Warm friendly, cheerful lady with patients, good sense of humor and a smile, I enjoy my work as a Carer of 20 years supporting many people with different health conditions. My background of work started in Residential care for our lovely older generation, clients with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS, Stokes, Palliative care etc, carrying out duties of personal care, encouraging drinks and food, encouraging activities with the clients such as chair exercise’s, arts and crafts, quizzes, gardening, day trips to the seaside. I moved onto one to one care in the community, building up a good rapport , trust and friendship with my clients, ensuring safety and clients wellbeing came first, following care plan’s, monitoring health issues, accompanying to hospital doctor's appointments, liaising with families, outside agencies, supporting personal care, taking observations, domestic chores and encouraging social life activities, I love animals and happy to walk doggies, changing cat litter trays and feeding the birds, enabling clients to lead an individual independent life in her own home for as long as possible avoiding hospital stays. I have also worked with a Rehab team and qualified nurses for individuals being admitted/discharged to/from hospital, trying to avoid hospital admittance and also encouraging clients to do things they used to do before hospital stays. Other courses attending are: End of life, Sepsis, Dementia course I am a good companion, a good listener and am able to put loved ones at ease and of course will always make time for a cup of tea and chatter.

If a clients personal possession is damaged or lost while at work Surewise can provide 250 to cover the cost.
