I am able to think ahead using my initiative I work hard and keep busy. I’m good at communicating and friendly …whilst being able to be supportive in situations whilst understanding the needs of others and encouraging them in a calm manner. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and never avoid jobs. I have 3 grown up children - 2 have left school the other very independent as used to me working (no childcare needed). I can work well in a team and on my own, I’m able to relay messages between shifts and record notes. I like meal preps and house keeping. Although working with children at the moment I have administered medication and had to think fast in situations and used to putting health and safety first whilst quickly adapting and staying calm. Lorna is kind, friendly, reliable, communicative, efficient and went the extra mile to help make our week's holiday in Lincolnshire a success. She helped my husband, who has young onset Parkinson's, with all aspects of personal care, dressing, helping out of bed and in to bed and making cups of tea. My husband and I were really grateful for everything she did. I would definately recommend Lorna. I hope she will help us again when we come back on holiday.
