BH8 9HW 167508 Hi everyone, My name is Helen. I am an experienced care/support worker working in the sector since 2007. Throughout my career, I have always actively participated in continuous personal development gaining not only qualifications but a vast array of experience. I started my career working in domiciliary care, undertaking daily visits to clients in their own homes. This was predominantly working with individuals with early to late-stage dementia and elderly care. However, I also cared for clients with degenerative disease and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. My next role was working within the palliative care team in Christchurch. This involved caring for people in their final weeks of life. This role was not only supporting the individuals to have a dignified, comfortable death but also supporting family and loved ones through this process. In this role, I also worked closely with a multi-disciplinary team that included nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and general practitioners. I currently work as a support worker, supporting people who have learning disabilities and mental health concerns. I am passionate about enabling my clients to live life to the fullest and being as independent as their condition allows. This role allows me to work with people who require very little support day to day, such as finances and shopping as well as people who require full 24-hour packages with two support staff. I have my own car which has business insurance allowing me to take clients out if they do not have access to their own transport. This car has enough space for a manual wheelchair if required. This could be useful if the client would like to go shopping, go to activities or want to access outdoor spaces for exercise or just be out in the fresh air. I consider myself to be a very sociable and chatty person and really like to care/support different individuals. I love to cook and I eat a well-balanced diet myself, I would be more than happy to help with nutrition and cooking for anyone who requires this assistance. I am passionate about my job and how I can have a positive impact on other people's lives. I am a very trustworthy and reliable person and being German I like to be organised and on time! BH2 5PG 17953 I am a Capetonian South African with a British citizenship.I have been doing live-in care for just over 5 years now. I've always wanted to give back to society in a healing, caring, and loving way whilst earning a living. I helped my mother look after my grandmother after she had a stroke and it was a very rewarding and priceless experience for me to give back to all the great years of loving and care my grandmother gave me as a child she taught me so much about life and how to do things and I will cherish her for the rest of my life. I love engaging with the elderly and listening to all their life stories they have such alot of wisdom to share. I used to do energy healing but found that very draining on my energy so I do not practice anymore but believe that anybody that is around me benefits from my positive energy. I like arts and crafts, cooking, and plants. I don't mind traveling max 2hrs for a live-in placement. I only do live-in care at the moment 2 to 3 weeks on/off I do have my own flat in Bournemouth and like to spend time there too.

Prior to this I was employed by private care companies in Surrey, Dorset & Hampshire, specialising in care for the elderly in their own homes. I also gained experience as an agency carer, working as part of a team within care & nursing homes, specialising in Parkinson's, Dementia and Palliative care. I have worked for a local Charity, supporting young adults with learning and physical disabilities (including Asperger's, Autism, Down's syndrome, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy) to live in a care setting, and within the community in their own homes. I enjoy working for one individual, or perhaps a couple, providing a high level of care to suit the client's routine, preferences and choices. I love dogs and cats, and happy to care for them. Also enjoy helping clients feed their garden birds, and look after their house plants & outdoor pots. I have 9 O levels including Maths & English, A level Business Studies, and Level 3 Institute Legal Executives qualifications. I worked for the legal profession in London & Guildford for many years before retraining and moving to a part time accountancy position in Dorset. My favourite subject at school was O level food & nutrition (and spending my break times playing tennis & rounders) but these days I enjoy home cooking & baking, and encouraging clients to enjoy their meals. I am a non smoker. In my spare time I enjoy walking my mother's border terrier on the beach, helping my mother-in-law with her gardening and attending social events with the local salmon fishing group (I'm married to a keen angler). I am a positive, happy and calm person, very patient, reliable and hard working. I enjoy a nice strong cup of M&S breakfast tea & relaxed conversation. A bit of a soft spot for a good film/drama, and travel, cooking & art programmes on TV. I am happy to take a client out for a short drive to the local shops, garden centre, local medical appointments etc. I am willing to support a client with personal care during the night, on a waking night basis, if required. Ideally working weekly within 1 hour of Christchurch but will travel 1hour+ from BH23 for a longer placement (I have friends & family in Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent, & London). BH12 2LB 364438 I have lived in Poole my whole life. I have worked in care and mental health for around 10 years, including lots of NHS experience, community care, care homes and private support work. I am calm, patient and reliable, and I try to support people in a way that feels respectful and natural rather than rushed. I am happy to help with personal care, medication prompts, companionship, appointments, meals, routines, emotional support and maintaining independence. I pride myself on helping people with independence and getting them out and about and people with early signs or early dementia who just need support or monitoring in their own home in a respectful and caring manner, working closely with their families on approaches that work for them. I can cover anywhere in Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne and Wareham/Upton and nearby areas depending on availability. I am especially comfortable supporting people with anxiety, low mood, memory problems, dementia, autism, learning disabilities or more complex needs.

bh11 9er 329465 I enjoy working as a health care assistant, I have 10 years experience in the sector. I started as a carer in a dementia nursing home and worked my way up to a senior carer. I then wanted to progress my career, which I then became a deputy manager in another dementia nursing home. I enjoyed my job role, however, ultimately I missed the one to one interactions with my clients which I really love. So I stepped down and have been working as a dom care worker in the community, which I am really enjoying, having the privilege to work in the clients home, building trust and working together to achieve clients goals and wishes to remain as independant as possible and to remain in their homes per their wishes. I drive and have buisness insurance, I enjoy driving so I am more than happy to travel to help meet a clients needs. I also enjoy cleaning and cooking so again, I am more than happy to undertake these tasks too. I am also a private cleaner and have experience being self employed in this sector. In my spare time, my hobbies are gardening and my love of animals, I used to be a florist so this is now my hobby and I rescue animals. I can provide assistance with taking care of your beloved companions too as they are important to our mental welbeing. Currently I work on a bank system with one dom company which is every Tuesday 7am-2pm, I then have my private client for cleaning 3pm-6pm. I also work with another dom company Wednesdays 7am-1pm, Saturdays 7am-10pm and Sundays 7am-10pm. However this isn't set in stone as these days and hours highly depend on what clients I have been allocated for those days. I am looking to work together directly with my clients here and I will leave the other two dom companies I work for, so I will become very flexible and can accommodate your needs as best as I can. If you have a friendly dog, I can help take the dog for a walk. I am flexible with time. I can do and I am willing to work with female clients too, if I am doing personal care for female clients I would like to have another person assisting. I am willing to do night shift and I can travel at least 30 miles.
