WD25 8BH 3430 My work history includes extensive experience in a care environment within social services, and in the private sector. My experience as a carer equates to around 25 years, and is largely with the elderly with dementia. Although more recently includes palliative/end of life care. As a people person I am caring and compassionate, and someone who easily identifies with the needs of others. I come with excellent communication and organisational skills, always with a conscientious approach to the task in hand. Additionally, I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident individual, who is also flexible, adaptable and hard-working. I have a continuous registration on the DBS update service, which ensures that my DBS is always current. (Please note that my rate of pay is inclusive of deductible agency fees). In my spare time i enjoy spending time with my family, and also my church family, swimming, country walks, music, eating out, reading and further education.

WD7 8PE 242702 Hi! My experience as a carer has been gained through working for a domiciliary care agency. I visited clients in their homes to support with personal care ( washing/dressing, brushing teeth, combing hair, changing incontinence pads, catheter care, assisting to go to the toilet/commode). I can use a hoist to move people in/out of bed and into a chair. I can also cook meals, complete light cleaning and laundry. I am friendly, compassionate, kind and a good listener. I have worked as a carer in paid and unpaid work for 3 years and have looked after people with physical and mental health conditions including dementia, stroke, cancer and schizophrenia. I became a carer while initially looking after family members. I enjoy looking after people and find this work very rewarding. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the cinema. Do get in touch if you think I could help you.

NW9 5WS 160612 I have 5 years experience in the Carer industry backed up by great training in moving & handling, food hygiene, Dementia care, medication administration & Oxygen administration. l have hoisting & sara stedy experience. Currently l am looking after a client with physical disabilities, spinal code injury, l do manual bowel evacuation, support her with moving & handling & wheelchair assistance. l have also looked after dementia & Parkinson clients with mobility, incontinence, limited speech challenges & due to my patience & listening attitude plus my trainings & empathic experience in care, l am offering them great support. lnformally I have had a chance to look after my parents(in their 80s) for several years. Over these years, I have developed a compassionate approach and have great empathy for my clients. I am hardworking, very kind, a great listener, patient and always able to work at my client's pace. I dare say cooking is one of my great passions and I do it very well. I am always happy to prepare healthy meals in a clean environment for my clients. l have cared for a PSP client for 5 months & had to feed her, use nebuliser when struggling to swallow, hoisting her & supporting her in all her limited speech. I have worked as a live in carer for several clients in their nineties with ■late dementia ■hoisting ■handled medication administration ■one was on oxgyen ■continence care ■personal care & companionship ■housework & cleaning■ cooking. I have trained & experience in using oxgyen cylinders & oxgyen condenser for my clients I have worked with several people with dementia. ln Sept 2022, I had a chance of working with a 90 year old lady with dementia and she had great challenges sleeping at night, so I had to patiently talk to her up to late in the night and slowing encourage her to bed, some times with no sleep but settled as much as possible. I have also worked with people with cerebral palsy and PEG feeding. In August 2022 l had a privilege of caring for a young girl (19years) while her family took off some time on holiday. I had to hoist her into bed and wheel chair, she was PEG feeding and l had to manage that using an infusion machine, I was responsible for all her bathes and hygiene care to ensure she was comfortable. I had to do all cooking & cleaning. Before becoming a carer, l trained in early years and used to work with young children. This experience boosted my caring ability and it made it easier for me to care for people of all ages. I love reading, cooking and baking. I look forward to your contact and I am sure I will be able to deliver a great caring service.

HA3 5HZ 303071 Hello, my name is Devina, I am an experienced professional female carer with over 25+ years experience working within a wide scope of the nursing and health care sector ranging from various acute hospitals (working on all the main wards in addition to specialised care for patients with mild to severe heart conditions and stroke care needs in both ICU and CCU wards) to community hospitals specialising in neurological care needs and post stroke rehabilitation care. In addition to residential care homes for clients with severe challenging behaviour and learning disabilities/mental health care needs, nursing care homes for the elderly, independent living for specialised care needs, palliative care (for end of life care) and for elderly clients who require care within their own homes amongst many other care capacities. I am a very caring, attentive, compassionate and friendly carer currently specialising in overnight care at this time. As this allows me to offer continuous support, safety and assurance to my clients to sustain a comfortable night during the most vulnerable hours. However, I maybe open to a select few hourly (day) care opportunities that offer a suitable amount of hours on a consistent long-term basis that meets my interest. I am currently working for an NHS hospital trust specialising in post-stroke care and therefore am looking to combine my existing job alongside this self-employment platform with either 1 or 2 suitable clients for overnight care. In addition to my wide depth of experience in my existing NHS job and the course of my career in the nursing sector. I have had the opportunity to work alongside many physio’s and have also assisted patients in various mobility exercises to aid in their recovery and as a general practice in my own approach to the care I deliver. I am always encouraging individuals to participate in various exercises as often as they can to strengthen their affected side or weakness in their body to help them restore their confidence and independence. I also have a genuine passion to make a difference in the lives of my clients and anyone I’ve had the privilege to attend to in my career both on a personal & professional level. My experience has equipped me with a wide depth of skills, knowledge and experience needed to provide a high quality standard of care, and a thorough working knowledge of care legislation, that encompasses all aspects of my role from personal care to assisting in various household chores, cooking and meal preparations, administering medicine, record keeping & assisting clients with companionship. With years of experience in supporting individuals with mild to severe cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, MS, various cancers, visual and hearing impairments, anxiety, depression, and those who are bed-bound amongst many more conditions. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role. While I may not be able to drive or possess a car, my dedication to providing exceptional care remains unwavering. My motivation for pursuing a career in care stemmed from my parents who were both dual-qualified nurses. I find joy in engaging with my clients to ensure that they feel valued and supported throughout our time together. Beyond my professional skills, I am an individual who enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, walking, exercising, DIY, reading, watching tv, movies, cooking & baking, board/card games and puzzles.
