E16 1UA 238296 I am a Nurse with 17 years experience, currently not able to practise as it has been 3 years since my training has been accessed therefore I have been working as a Carer for the past 3 years due to an injury I sustained on my lower back and can no longer withstand the 13hr shifts as a Nurse. Due to the vast experience I have working as a nurse I am able to give good quality care to my client's in all aspects of my work. I am a good communicator, able to implement and prioritise my work, collaborate with other multi-disciplines which enables me to achieve quality and excellent results for my client's. I also have extensive knowledge and experience in working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and social classes. My background is general nursing, e.g respiratory, surgical etc. I love water aerobics, reading, and I love cooking, very happy person and love to make people happy. I take great interest in the well being of my clients and what makes them happy. Also my wide experience as a nurse has given me much confidence, attention to detail which I believe I possess and use to my advantage to deliver excellent and quality care to my client's. When on assignment I prefer to take my own food to work and I can also prepare basic meals for my client. I’m also able to engage with other multi-disciplines e.g physio, GP etc to plan/take my clients to various appointments /other leisure activities using the patient’s car as long as it’s insured for me to drive as my car’s insurance is personal and not Business or other means provided or go for walks if the client is mobile and not at risk of falling. I also prefer to have my 2 hours break every shift. Bank holiday is double time/pay. Generally I like to keep my clients entertained by engaging them in doing things that they like and enjoy to do like knitting, board games, gardening, letting them choose and participate in planning their meals if they are able to and generally whatever makes them occupied and happy. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

SE3 8BZ 129122 Hello, I'm Lucy, a dedicated professional with a rich background in care spanning over 5 years. My journey in the field began as a community carer, where I honed my skills in providing compassionate support. I transitioned to working with children, gaining valuable experience before venturing into a mental health unit and subsequently joining the psychiatric ambulances. I currently work with unaccompanied, adolescent asylum seekers and looked-after children while I'm studying for a degree in clinical psychology, specializing in music-based interventions, neuroscience and neurodevelopment disorders. I have a TEFL qualification and I also teach English as a foreign language. My approach to caregiving is characterized by a calm, warm, and friendly demeanour. I find genuine joy in helping people and contributing positively to the world, whether that's simply offering companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations, or providing more complex care. I've worked in a number of care settings but community care was something I really enjoyed, helping people feel more comfortable in their own home was something I became quite fond of. Outside of my education and work, I have a big appreciation for animals, a passion for music, and a love for cooking. Im happy to learn your favourite recipes or equally, I can cook you one of my own favourites. I also enjoy reading, science, history and learning languages! With a diverse range of experiences and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact, I welcome the opportunity to connect and discuss how I can assist you or your loved ones. Please don't hesitate to reach out :) 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
