I am an excellent multi-tasker, capable of juggling various responsibilities simultaneously, which helps me to be productive with my time and allows me to prioritise my tasks appropriately to ensure the best level of care. I am a good communicator and listener, able to engage in meaningful conversations with clients while showing a genuine interest in them and their loved ones. I am currently undertaking my NVQ Level 2 and have actively worked with individuals who have Alzheimer’s and dementia, fully understanding how challenging this can be. All the training I have completed has equipped me with the skills to handle these situations with tact and patience, offering reassurance and encouragement. I have also communicated with families when a person in my care has experienced a deterioration in health or, regrettably, passed away, and therefore I possess the experience and empathy to cope with distressing situations. I welcome the opportunity to work for the NHS and strive to maintain a professional manner, upholding the trust's values of honesty, transparency, and teamwork while demonstrating care and compassion in everything I do.
