I am outgoing, sociable and empathetic toward people. I have been working in social care for 19 years and I have a vast experience with working with people with mental health conditions, those with learning disabilities including children, elderly people and supported living. I have a great passion and interest in working to provide quality support and care to vulnerable people and enable them to live an independent and rewarding life by promoting their health and wellbeing and protecting and safeguarding them from harm, neglect, and all forms of abuse and discrimination. Supporting people with personal care, food preparations, shopping, going to cinema, supporting them with their daily activities of their choices based on a person centred approach. I have an understanding of care standards maintaining privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times. Outside of work, I am a family orientated person and I like going on walks, going shopping and overall just spend time with my family.
