As someone who has had a good number of years working in this type of role working in many areas of care such as adult care, dementia, patient with stroke, adults with a learning disability, autism spectrum disorder, patients with mental health conditions and many more. I put patients first in anything I do. I have accompanied patients for medical appointments and assisted patients in booking appointments to see their families visits, helping in preparing food and keeping the house tidy. Also, I assisted patients by taking them for their personal shopping or taking them out for dinner to eat out. I am a caring person, empathetic person, friendly and approachable individual who you can easily talk to. I believe I would be able to thrive in this position and develop the necessary skills to flourish. I have had 7 years of working in this profession and I recently studied higher diploma in health and social care. I have good communication ability both written and verbal as well as collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is part of how I was able to ensure success in the past.
