I am a very ambitious/motivated individual with good communication skills both verbal and non-verbal, a committed person who copes well under pressure, caring and have good listening skills. I am well organised, reliable, responsible and self-disciplined person. Good observant, flexible in nature. I am a good team player and a hard worker with a lot of determination. I have worked as part of a team providing high level of services, I have gained diverse transferable skills, gained as a carer, support worker, living carer and having secretarial experience. I have good organisation skills, effective planner and able to use own initiative to meet targets and deadlines, ability to deal tactfully with confidential information. I have varies working skills i.e. computer skills, typing skills and trained as a carer/NVQ Level 2. Due to the skill’s I acquired am able to rehearse with people of different professional’s i.e Medical Consultant, GP, Nurses, Bankers etc. During my period of working with clients with varies disability I have worked with people with various disabilities challenging behaviour, dementia clients, mental health and elderly clients also clients with physical disability. I have used hoist, bathed clients, feeding, supported clients for swimming, shopping etc Supporting clients motivating them to use toilets depending on their needs and abilities also feeding. I have also worked with clients in their own homes. Helping them by hovering, doing laundry and shopping. Administering medications and ordering medication. Booking clients appointments with g.p, dentist and hospital appointments. Encouraging clients to attend day centers depending on their needs and requirements on the care plans. I have experience of changing catheter. Up-dating care plans. Helping clients with the petty cash and keeping the petty cash up-to-date. I have other skills acquired through Secretarial training, computer and helps to support clients typing their daily notes etc. I have varies working skills which I can bring, i.e. computer skills, good English i.e speaking/written. Able to work as a teams. Have more than 10 years’ experience in care and home care. And have supported clients by living in their own home. Supervision of medications. Ensuring clients have a health balanced diet. Having worked with clients with varies needs I treat people with empathy and very understanding. I have good organisation skills, communication and uses my own initiative. Polite, kind reasonable. Also due to the above skills I ave rehearse with people of different professionals social workers, OT and help clients needs met. I.e. comfortable beds, recline chairs and safe home environment.
