I enjoy a lot of hobbies and other aspects of social life activities. I have extensive experience working in the care industry, I have worked in supported living ,community settings , hospitals, care homes , nursing homes, Live in & the Mental health industry for 20 years with private settings and the NHS in London , Bradford and across England. Having worked in mental health wards for the over 65 year olds and above for 11 years I also have experience with clients who suffer from dementia, diabetes, bipolar , learning disabilities, clients with stoma , catheter care bags and clients with challenging behaviour. I also help monitor sugar levels for clients with diabetes , administer medication including insulin clients . I am also able to make hospital appointments, ordering of medications for the Pharmacy and making any other appointments if needed . I also can manage to care for clients nursing body wounds (open or closed) and pressure sores in most areas of the body . I am able to communicate and relate to clients in a manner in which they are able to understand me well which helps tailor their needs as and when required. I am also hoist trained and able to nurse bed bound clients and many more .
