I am originally from the Philippines and a registered midwife back home. Since moving here in the UK,I have been working as a healthcare assistant. I currently care both adult and children with physical disabilities due to medical problems. My tasks include tracheostomy care, tracheostomy suctioning, personal care, moving and handling, administering medications via Peg, Peg care and light household duties. I enjoy working in care, for me it's more than a job. Providing a person-centred care is the best way to achieve quality care not only to clients but also to their families. At the moment I am not flexible but I can do days and few nights. I could do 1 week living in as long as I am notified few weeks before the shift. My hobbies - Well I like watching films, TV game shows, chatting, going for a walk and bit of cooking. Unfortunately I don't drive but I can get to work to places around Nuneaton, Bedworth and nearby Coventry. I have experience in working in Residential and Nursing home caring for elderly.
