I have supported service users by ensuring they were claiming correct benefits and manage their own personal budgets effectively- empowering them to enjoy a higher level of financial inclusion. In my other roles as support worker l have assisted service users with personal care , including getting them up/ going to bed, washing, bathing, dressing/ undressing and toileting. I have also supported service users with mobility issues and other physical disabilities, including in continence and helping with them use their care aids and personal equipment. I was a point of contact in the event of emergencies, reporting any changes to the service users to my line manager. I genuinely have an interest in caring for people our support in their homes or in the community.
