    I worked for British Gas for 20 years + and was made redundant, had few other jobs in offices, but my eldest sister persuaded me to go into the Caring Sector. I haven't looked back since. I wish I started care earlier.I have been working in care for over twenty-seven years plus and looked after...More I worked for British Gas for 20 years + and was made redundant, had few other jobs in offices, but my eldest sister persuaded me to go into the Caring Sector. I haven't looked back since. I wish I started care earlier.I have been working in care for over twenty-seven years plus and looked after a wide range of clients with various illnesses and disabilities from ages of 7 to 104 in their homes, hospitals, and care homes. I don't mind travelling distances. I am happy to be a companion and assist with appointments and shopping (personal shopping for clothes, etc) also sleeping overnights and short live-in. I have used Apo-Go insulin pumps, a CPAP mask. I enjoy looking after people and keeping them safe, clean well, and happy. I am a car driver and have a business cover, so there is no need to worry, I am also happy taking clients out shopping, whether it be food or clothes shopping. I love the idea for them to meet their friends for a chat and catch up over coffee and cake. Hairdressers, we all need our hair cut/trimmed from time to time or just a nice drive where we can stop for tea/coffee. Watch the world go by or just walk however far we can. I love sharing and listening to stories, I am very flexible. Nothing is too much trouble. If I can, I will. I am not beaten easily. I get a lot of job satisfaction from knowing they are safe, well content, and happy. I like to get them interacting in gentle games, cards, and board games if they like. also soft music. old films which bring back nice memories I am an avid pet lover! More the merrier. done Dog walking too :) I endeavour to answer all messages by 8 pm the same day. Just to let you know, I have received 7 of my Covid vaccinations. I am available for Emergency Call Out within 5 hours if needed, depending on the distance. I have a level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care certificate I took with Croydon Social Services.
