I am determined, confident and charismatic to help make a difference within the health sector. I have over 5 years experience in the care sector. With a level 3 Health and social care certificate. I have worked with young adults and the elderly that have learning disabilities and challenging behaviour who sometimes find it extremely difficult to communicate. However, my communication skills have enabled me to overcome potential barriers whilst still being able to engage with individuals on a personal and professional basis. I currently work in the NHS- as a Maternity Care Assistant. I have worked throughout the pandemic. I work on a professional level around many professionals ie; doctors & surgeons. I work in theatres and Ante/Post Natal wards. I enjoyed my job very much however I have alot more to offer on a 1-1 basis and would like to work with patients who may need my help a little more. I have the ability to work independently on my own initiative as well as part of a team. I am determined to succeed in all challenges/goals set to me. I have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. I am also a proficient user of technology. I have acquired medication training so I am literate with administering medication and the paperwork that comes with it. I am meticulous with time keeping and I am a highly organised individual. I am capable of communicating effectively at all times with staff, relatives and patients, thus enhancing my own personal skills. When I am not working I enjoy shopping, eating out, watching movies at the cinemas, really enjoy going to theatres. I really enjoy going to the gym and socialising with new people.
