I am a nurturer by nature. Keeping people happy, safe and fulfilled is what motivates everything I do, both at home and at work. Every person has unique needs and wants - I respect these and keep them central to what I do during my care call. I have an accumulated average of around 8 years of caring experience. Including with Dementia (Alzheimers) folk. I have a degree in Psychology and English, as well as a Care Skills Certificate for standards 1 to 15. I am currently doing my level 3 diploma in adult social care...although no amount of qualifications can give you a heart for people. However, once you have that heart, which I do, the qualifications and regulations make the "how" much clearer and bring in accountability which is important. I am a committed, loyal, trustworthy, thorough, orderly individual that has had enough experience in care to know that there is a fine line between helping and interfering. I'm quick at figuring out where that line is and then staying on the help and support side.... sometimes the line moves and I'm flexible with that. I also have a tenacious sense of humour.... it goes a long way!! I would love to hear from you to discover whether we're a good fit for each other. Please Note: my rate is £25 per hour for the first hour and then £10 per half hour, or part thereof, after the first hour. I also have a companion call special offer on at the moment of £60 for 3 hours.
