My name is Joe, I have been working as a live-in carer since June 2016. I have experience in end of life care, dementia, parkinsons, cancer and stroke. My interests include cooking , exercise, reading, music, sport and travel. My work history is when I left school I went to college and done my city & guilds in motor mechanics and then i worked for BT as a engineer and then i studied the London knowledge to become a London black cab driver . My first experience in care was looking after my father in law who had terminal cancer which i done for one year up to his death. That’s when I decided i wanted to become a carer. It gives me me great satisfaction helping someone keep there own independence as much as possible. I am a loyal caring and trustworthy individual who finds the caring profession very rewarding.
