I love being a carer because I am passionate about making a difference in people and being able to help them improve their day to day life. My very first introduction to becoming a carer came through the encounter I had when my cousin was born with autism before then I never really knew much about it and this led me to go into the healthcare sector working and learning along the way of how to best support him. This encounter enabled me to gain detailed knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities that is undertaken by healthcare professionals to ensure the overall success of an organisation.
