Having cared for for my late grandmother after her stroke and heart attack, and my dad after a pulmonary embolism left him incapacitated and subsequently battled dementia for 3 years before sadly passing away in July, I’ve worked in professional care now for the past 5 years.
I have professional experience with dementia (Alzheimer’s, Lewy Body and Vascular), Parkinson’s, COPD, Autism, ADHD, anxiety & depression, and reablement after a stroke, hip replacement, and a heart attack.
I appreciate and understand first hand how difficult it is to entrust the care of your loved one to an outsider. I went through this process myself with my dad when Mum and I cared for him 24/7 and eventually needed some extra help. For this reason, I am committed to caring for my clients the way I would for my own loved ones.
I adore animals and nature, I’m passionate about making a difference, and I have a very strong sense of family and values.
I look forward to chatting to you about how I can support you and your family.
