As I prepare to start my course in the upcoming months, I am using my time to study, and gaining as much experience as I can within Public Health whiles maintaining my interest in working within healthcare. I currently work for Public Health Scotland as a Contact Tracer. I enjoy meeting new people. With almost 10 years of working in care and experience in areas such as medicine of the elderly, community care, clinics and nursing homes, I have gained extensive skills, knowledge and understanding in caring for people and possess great interpersonal skills accompanied by my ability to work in a team. I have excellent communication skills and a humble individual. My aim is always to do my very best when caring for people with utmost respect and dignity. I strongly believe there is a lot of satisfaction knowing the help and support you provide others during illness and vulnerable times goes a very long way. Ensuring my patients and clients are safe at all times, well looked after and all their needs are met are pivotal to me.
