I have been a carer for 25 years continuously and have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge. I have attained a vocational NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and have worked with clients with dementia, gaining professional insight into the 7 stages of dementia. One of my clients, who used to be in a choir, and I had a great time singing together! She would suddenly become content and happy throughout the day. My clients have experienced strokes, Parkinson’s, catheter care, PEG feeding, and more. I have also cared for clients who require palliative care and those with Alzheimer's. I have completed all mandatory training and have an up-to-date clean driving licence and impeccable references. I am a calm, positive, focused individual and passionate about what I do. I am a non-smoker and available for an immediate start. I am available throughout the night. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you. My first COVID vaccination date was 17/01/21. I am interested in part-time or emergency cover for other carers.
