I would like to care for clients in the London area and within a 60 mile radius. I have cared for my father on and off since his triple heart bypass operation in 2001 and lately, my mother, as she has begun to show signs of what we believe to be dementia. What can I bring to my customer? I would care for them as if they were my own parents and with training and experience aim to be the best carer I can be.” Experience Key areas of experience: dementia, heart conditions, osteoporosis, macular degeneration, palliative care, stoma care. I am happy to care for either make or female. I have provided care for a lady who had osteoporosis and recurring TIAs, as well as macular degeneration. In this placement, I needed to be patient and listen to my customer throughout all caring processes. While working as a live-in carer I have gained experience and skills in delivering many aspects of care including: Administering medication Stoma management Moving and handling Personal care Housekeeping and meal preparation Providing companionship Continence care I started caring for my father after he had a triple heart bypass operation in 2001, followed by a stent operation. I feel that my previous personal experience of care has given me the ability to be empathetic and understanding of my customer’s situations. I will strive to ensure they are always happy and comfortable within my care, feeling as supported as possible. My parents moved to Hungary in 2017 to live with me, while they were living with me, I helped my father with a number of his everyday tasks, some of which include administering his medication three times a day, ensuring that he ate nutritious and healthy meals, completing shopping tasks, and making sure the space was kept clean and tidy and I even assisted with his personal care. I also looked after my mother in various aspects of her life including continence care and providing companionship. My mother has dementia Personality I am a mother of three children and two step children. I cared for my son for six months until he sadly passed away. From this, I am incredibly strong and empathetic. I am also a person of integrity, and honest, reliable, and committed. Having a father who struggled with his health for a number of years has instilled the ability to be empathetic to both the person needing care and their family. I am also very organised, a strength required and developed through my previous employment endeavours. However, I considers my deep love and concern for humanity to be my best quality. In my spare time, I enjoys connecting with friends and family, going to the beach, picnics, cooking, gardening, hiking, Bingo, trying new restaurants and eating experiences, and the outdoors in general. I am passionate about exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. I enjoy cooking and have developed an interest specifically in the Banting (Keto) style of cooking and I constantly experiment with new recipes. I especially love a good currystews and soups. My husband is great at cooking traditional Hungarian dishes and I havelearnt to prepare a couple of these dishes from him. Driving: Yes Smoking: No, but uses an electronic cigarette
