I have a strong foundation in healthcare assistant more than six years and principles clinical skills, which allows me to take care of patients and prioritize their needs. My goal is to promote the health, comfort, and wellbeing of every patient I encounter. • Effectively communicated and worked as part of a team with different healthcare professionals. • Provided personalized care and support to vulnerable individuals, helping them maintain their independence. • Participated in personal development initiatives to improve the quality of service and patient care. • Actively improved my healthcare skills through regular training. • Kept a close eye on patients' conditions and reported any concerns to senior staff. • Supported service users in engaging in social activities, promoting their independence and overall well-being. • Developed caring and supportive relationships with residents, providing mental stimulation to enhance their daily lives. • Promoted the physical and emotional well-being of patients through compassionate care and assistance. • Provided compassionate personal care to elderly patients, assisting with tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting. • Accompanied residents to social and leisure activities to improve their physical and mental well-being. • Proactively worked to increase public health awareness, resulting in a reduction in patient readmissions. • Maintained accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure consistent care between support providers. During my training at Basildon & Thurrock University, I had the chance to work in different clinical settings. This helped me grow as a nurse and gain valuable experience. In the Bulphan Ward, I learned how to care for patients undergoing various surgeries. I became skilled in wound care, preventing pressure ulcers, and helping patients who had trouble moving. In the Critical Care Unit, I learned how to care for patients who were getting sicker. This experience taught me how to handle complex medical conditions and emergencies. I also spent time at St Luke's Hospice, where I learned about compassionate end-of-life care. I had the opportunity to work with the Urgent Community Response Team in Thurrock, where I responded to urgent medical needs in the community. This experience taught me how to adapt quickly and work well with a team or on my own In the Cardiothoracic-Chelmer Ward, I learned about pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing heart and chest surgeries. I gained knowledge in surgical procedures and sterile techniques. I also learned how to manage pain, prevent infections, and administer medications. At Brentwood Community Hospital, I worked in the Inpatient Unit for rehabilitation and assessment. This experience helped me learn how to manage long-term conditions and provide holistic care to patients who were recovering. I also gained experience in promoting independence, managing medications, and addressing the needs of elderly patients. In addition to my clinical skills, I am a great communicator. I can explain complex medical information to patients and their families. I can also provide emotional support and motivation to patients during their recovery. I am organized, able to think critically, and work well with a team. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga and going hiking. These activities help me maintain balance and take care of myself, so I can provide the best care to my patients. In summary, I am a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate nurse who is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. I am committed to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice, ethics, and confidentiality. I believe that my knowledge, skills, and passion for nursing make me a valuable asset to any healthcare team.
