On ocassions I would assist with personal care. washing brushing and styling hair, nail care. occasionally medication prompting. I would exercise with them by going for walks or we would do exercises that were given to them by a professional. I would assist or would do the following light household chores such as dusting, hoovering, changing beds, mopping floors, ironing, preparing meals or cooking with them or for them. I would attend clubs they went to or just take them to activities and then go back and collect them, I have also carried out nail care and make up, I have applied lotions or creams when required by following instructions, as well as medication prompting and in children administered medication following instructions on the box or by the doctor. I have recently gained the following qualifications: moving and handling, infection control, understanding autism and asperger as well as managing challenging behaviour in adults and children, I have also had practical training and theory in hoisting I am waiting for some of the certificates, as proof. I keep my training updated in regards to policies and procedures.
