I have a passion working in care which I developed after caring for my sister who needed palliative care as well as my mother. I then went to to study as to enhance my knowledge and skills within the industry. I have worked as a Live-in Carer,  working on a flexible rota of 2 to 4 weeks on and 1 to 2 weeks off.  I worked with different clients with different needs, however,  care was offered on a person-centred framework.  I covered  dementia care, palliative care,  Mental health care,  Sensory impairment,  Stroke, and old age.  I was covering all aspects of Activities of Daily living; Personal care; Menu planning,  Cooking,  Shopping, Going out on Activities; Facilitating Client's family engagements; Hospital and Doctors appointments, working in collaboration with other agencies offering health and support to the client; Companionship; Adhering to individual Care Plan; Medication administration/ordering and Management; House keeping; and any other needs as required by client.
