My long years of service have prepared me to work with different groups of patients and people with different health needs such the disabled, the elderly, dementia, autistic, challenging behaviour and those with some type of limitations in carrying out activities of daily living that need support but would like to continue living in their own homes. As a nurse I have appreciated the need for individualised care and working on one to one will give that opportunity to promote that aspect of nursing and giving the individual the respect to make choices and promote independence.
