I’ve worked with different clientele in elderly care homes, dom care in the community, disabilities, mental health, addiction just to mention but a few. I’ve worked with private care homes as well as in the hospitals with NHS mental health wards. I worked with Glasgow city council with women in homelessness and lately work with children in residential care. I work on rota four weeks rotational: 1st week work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 2nd week I work Wednesday and Thursday. 3rd week Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 4th week I am off the whole week then rotate. I am willing to work on my days off especially the 2nd and 4th week. I like to treat each and everyone as an individual and therefore use a person centred approach while dealing with each service user. I am willing to accompany the client for social interaction in the community such as: activities, church, shopping, appointments etc. I am also happy to work with both male and female clients. I will work alongside other health professionals and use their guidelines on what is needed for the client in order to give a holistic care. I bring a positive outlook to my work and can work as a team as well as on my own. I am always punctual, friendly, active, eager to learn, ready to wok under pressure, my family are an important part in my life. I will also be willing to do part of some housekeeping jobs like hovering, clearing and cleaning what has been used during cooking, cooking nutritional meals, making beds, laundry but dislike ironing. I am also willing to administer medication if they are prescribed and have clear instructions on how to administer them. I can tolerate a house with cats but not very keen on dogs unless they are well behaved as I have no experience of living with dogs or looking after them. I love reading, walking, socialising with friends or family, going to the cinema or travelling so as to learn different cultures and lifestyles.
