I have had experience working with the elderly in a charming residential home in the village of Middleton on Sea (UK) where I completed levels 2 and 3 BTEC diplomas in Health and Social Care and a counselling course, as well as the relevant and mandatory courses. My role at various care homes and agencies since has been varied and included assisting residents with washing and dressing, assisting in the kitchen, medication administration, accompanying residents to Doctor and hospital appointments, running errands, office administration, online grocery shopping. I was born in Rhodesia and have lived many years in the UK from the age of 6. When I was 20 I returned to what is now Zimbabwe where I met my husband who was a pilot and we've managed to travel to and live in many interesting places with his job. He's decided to retire from flying so we're now staying put in Scotland and I am thrilled about that as I love it here. I am a good cook and enjoy traditional British cooking as that's what most of my clients have enjoyed.
