I have been working in the health care sector since 2018 as a support worker and ambulance driver for a nursing and care agency. My experience has mainly been in mental health hospitals and care homes. Since 2020, I have also been working part-time for a London wide health and social care charity supporting colleagues with the training they require to stay current with legislation, understand and comply with the policies and procedures of the organisation we work for. This role is ad-hoc and this is why I am looking for other opportunities. This role has meant that I keep up to date with my CPDs and my development has equipped me with the skills necessary to be an effective team worker and a reliable asset in any clinical setting. I have been to various learning disability and mental health settings to observe colleagues who are learners as part of the qualifications they are undertaking. I pride myself on being a good communicator and listener, ensuring that the needs and concerns of both the people I support and colleagues are heard and addressed with kindness and empathy. I am well-versed in the day-to-day tasks required to support healthcare professionals and enhance patient care. I seek consent before proceeding with tasks and I respect the privacy and dignity of everyone I support and work with. I My ability to remain composed under pressure allows me to handle challenging situations with grace, maintaining a high standard of care at all times. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, travelling, reading, swimming, dancing, playing games, going to the theatre, socialising and learning new things. In summary, I am a kind and professional healthcare worker who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those I care for. I am eager to contribute my skills and work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional patient care.
