I take pleasure in conversing with clients while performing my job responsibilities. Compassionate, responsible, trustworthy, patient, empathetic, caring, kind, approachable, resilience, ability to promote independence and work in a person centered way, experienced and hard working is some of my skills. I can help with personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation, cleaning, and other administrative duties requiring assistance. I have experience working with Alzheimer's disease or dementia in the elderly, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, treatment of disease, disorder or injury. I'm trained about medication, infection control, food hygiene, personal and pressure care, nutrition and fluids, moving and handling, first aid, communication, equality and diversity, safety. I’m passionate about crosswords, gardening, cooking. I have a small breed dog, 15 years old and I love going for long walks with him. I'm an ex bariatric and ex diabetic.
