I have worked in health and social care services for over 26 years I have worked in various environments including nursing home, NHS female rehabilitation ward,social care worker for Dundee City Council and as a live in carer working throughout the UK providing support to people who wish to live a independent life in their own homes. most recently I was working in the falklands Islands as a support worker for a young adult with severe learning difficulties/epilepsy/seizures. I have skills knowledge and experience in dementia care/ Parkinson's/ stroke/ paliative care/end of life care /personal care/ medication administration/copd/ although i live in the north east of scotland i love to travel and have been very lucky in that i have worked throughout the UK in my capacity as a carer. I am very flexible with my rota, I'm happy to work for one week and upwards to provide continuity of care and to gain the the trust and confidence and to build a good working relationship. I can provide/support with washing and dressing/ food and drink/ medication/ social activities trips out/ bathing or shower/ housework/ companionship/ cooking homemade healthy meals. I am friendly approachable patient understanding easy going,i would be happy to travel anywhere in the UK to provide a proffessional and reliable package of care. thank you very much for taking the time to read my profile. kevin millar
