The knowledge I have gained through study & training. have given me the skills to care for people within a person-centred approach putting the client first. Working within safe standards of care through health & safety regulations regular risk assessments keep a client safe both in their home and during outings. In my work roles being a team player to me is a strength in meeting a client's needs by effective communication with other work colleagues professionals and family members. By giving opportunities to clients no matter how large or small the task may be has been so rewarding not just to the client but for myself while helping a client to build confidence in the caring I provide for them. For ten years I was a member of the RAMC at first as a QARANC and then this changed to a field hospital role as a CMT my work roles included field hospital and general hospital skills in a variety of positions supporting soldiers and their families while working with exceptional people and gaining many life long friends.
