I am compassionate, enjoy meeting people and genuinely care - treat no one any less than you would like to be treated yourself is my motto. I have cared for people with dementia, Parkinson’s, neurological disorders, chronic mental health issues, amputations, and assisted with rehabilitation where appropriate. I was a midwife for 30 years and latterly worked as a carer support worker supporting unpaid carers. I have a great insight into the struggles and impact on families caring for family members juggling work, caring and every day life and to know that your loved one is being cared for provides peace of mind, reduces anxiety and stress allowing the families carers strain to be alleviated. I am willing to provide live in respite care for individuals or couples to enable clients to remain active in the community and feel supported with daily living, socialising and meeting family. I enjoy caring, meeting people and enjoy cooking. I have a clean driving license. I strive to go above and beyond and take pride in my work.
