I have been a p...More I am a laid back and fun person, I have a passionate belief that everyone deserves the utmost care. My motto is as long as my service user is happy, I am happy. I am a very flexible person and always do my best to conduct the best care in the interest of the person receiving my care. I have been a professional carer since October 2022 starting in home care and then moving to a company where I predominantly work in Scottish autism. I have lots of years of personal experience as I have a younger sister who has a very severe case of cerebral palsy, therefore I have a great understanding of a few disabilities and how to handle/ care for this. I treat everyone I care for the same as I would treat my sister because I think it is important to treat everyone like family as some care can be very invasive. I feel I have learnt a lot from the people I have cared for, may that be listening to old war stories and getting a cup of tea or helping someone bathe and get ready for the day ahead. I am currently working towards my SVQ 3 in health and social care. I previously was a nursery teacher so working with children is also something I enjoy.
